The deficit of hospital operations is met through other income and rentals received from shops. Donations are largely being spent on refurbishment and capital equipment. Expenditure on refurbishments to the building and replacement of old equipment is heavy and is of utmost importance if the hospital is to improve its services. The expenditure has been heavy but needs to go up to much higher levels:

The hospital is able to sustain its current operations through income generated and rental from the shops. The trustees can be relied upon to fund any deficit and some refurbishment. The existing facilities were constructed in the 1960’s. Modern medical science and hospital layouts have changed drastically over the past 40 years. To continue to provide quality medical care to deserving we need to make major improvements in our facilities.
