Charity is one of the basic aims of the Trust. We are regularly paying scholarship to the widows. Last year widows were paid Rs.75,500/-. Similarly during the year 2006, Rs 4,31,558/- were spent for the treatment of poor & Deserving Patients from Deserving Patients Fund of the Hospital. This fund is also being utilized for white collar people, who could not beg for help but they were really deserving. We have also established “Employees” welfare fund out of which an amount of Rs. 41,000/- was given to different employees of the hospital last year 2006.

Medicine worth Rs. 7,20,000/- was also provided to them, especially to low paid employees of the hospital. They are also registered with Employees Old Age Benefit Institution and we are regularly paying handsome amount to the institution. Last year hospital born Rs. 341,762/- which was paid towards EOBI for the welfare of the Hospital employees.

As mentioned earlier, our well renowned consultants have examined / treated 969 patients who were admitted in general ward during last year, No visiting / consultation fee was charged from these patients, whereas qualified specialist having MCPS,FCPS degree, normally charged Rs. 400/- to Rs.500/- at their private clinics but we are providing this service in our Hospital free of cost. 39418 treatments rendered to the ailing humanity is an ample example of charity.

In foregoing paras we have elaborated the facts of the charity. The Hospital has granted charity amounting to Rs.22.800,575/- to the patients during the last year, as detail given below: -
